The world has come to Austin and they brought cold air and rain with them. Given the weather and the crowds this native Austinite decided to let the out of towners have the city for the weekend and stayed in and had a most lovely Friday night and Saturday cozy in my house. For a perfect weekend in one needs the necessities and the below are mine.

| Comfortable PJ pans with fuzzy socks are a must. |

| When it's cold as well as rainy you need a fireplace going. Even if it's mostly for show as ours tends to be. |

| A glass of wine goes perfectly for an evening by the fire |
 |
| Home made soup is good for a warm lunch or dinner |
 |
| You need entertainment; for us it was the entire West Wing Series as well as some DVR clean up |

|
|
 |
| And of course some one to hibernate with! |

The sun came back on Sunday so I was forced out of my happy shell, but at least I had my perfect rainy Saturday! My guess is the last one for a long time!
